Limited Edition & Open Print Editions
Bates Island, Acrylic on Canvas, 2024

Prints are OPEN EDITION of an 11x14 image size of 13x16 heavyweight watercolor paper. $95 each
This was a piece created as an illustrated version of what might have happened to the Bates Motel & the Bates Mansion
decades after Norman has left us. The waters have risen creating a real physical isolation and now the house can only be accessed by boat.
This version is smaller than the original but I am in the process of working on larger remarqued version (with original paintings added on top) - Stay tuned!

IT IS ON OUR HOUSE NOW, Acrylic on Canvas, 2025

Prints are OPEN EDITION of an 11x14 image size of 13x16 heavyweight watercolor paper. $95 each
This was a piece inspired both as a tribute to the recently deceased David Lynch, as well as from a strange dream I had where I was
seemingly communicating with a giant yellow seahorse underwater with just eye movements. Included are the recognizable chevron floor
pattern from Twin Peaks and Eraserhead, as well as red curtains, and of course a "blue rose"

Arriving in Seattle, Watercolor, 2024

Prints are a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered. Image size 17x11 on 19x13 Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper. $125 each
We live near Seattle, but not in the heart of the city. Travel to and from Seattle for us often means
boarding a large ferry boat from Bainbridge Island, WA. This si one of the largest ferry systems in the world
and just taking the ride is very impressive in itself. We often travel with out car on the boat but walk-ons are possible
as well. Either way it's a stunning contrast of industrial machinery with the beautiful natural environment
of the Pacific Northwest. In this painting is a scene I witnessed in May of 2024, watching the boat arriving at Colman Dock in Seattle
on its back and forth trip between Seattle and Bainbridge Island. We were headed home and blessed with an amazing sunset.

Choices, Venice, Italy - Watercolor 2022

Prints are a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered. Image size 17x11 on 19x13 Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper. $125 each
Venice is one of my favorite places in all the world to paint, and there is no better place for good reference for those who love architecture & light.
I initially stumbled on this building across a small canal while leaving the apartment nearby for some grocery shopping, and this was on the way to the market.
I was struck by the beauty of the colored doors, bright saturated color, but also showing the wear and tear of the mositure at the bottom of each door. Later, after some research
while painting, I learned that this was the home of Daniele Manin, an Italian Statesman who was very involved with the unification of Italy

Father & Daughter, Venice, Italy - Watercolor 2024

Prints are a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered. Image size 17x11 on 19x13 Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper. $125 each
This painting is a way of revisiting the same building depicted in Choices (above). This is painted from a different view, pulled way back from the
Manin building, and picturing the staue of Daniele Manin. Through researching Daniele Manin, I was saddened by the fact that Manin's daughter passed before he did, so I wanted
to add a storytelling element - the young girl with the yellow balloon, just to get people thinking.

Varenna is a regular stop for us when we travel to Italy. On the Eastern shores of Lake Como, this ancient village is accessible train and car, and has easy
access to other villages on the lake via a reliable ferry system. We try to stay in Varenna as our home base, and we have made good friends here over the years and it
makes all the more special return to familiar smiling faces.

The Contessa's Window, Venice, Italy - Watercolor 2018

Prints are a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered. Image size 8.5 x 17 on 10.5 x 19 Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper. $125 each
Just off the Zattere in Dorsoduro, this stately window has a bright red curtain, and to be perfectly honest
I walked right by it for years until it was lit up on this angle with light and shadow. I made a sketch of it
at our apartment and looked forward to painting it upon my return to the studio.

Calle Larga Rosa, Castello, Venice, Italy - Watercolor 2018

Prints are a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered. Image size 9x18 on 11x20 Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper. $125 each
In the Castello district of Venice, one notices a little less tourism and a little more local feel. Laundry hangs above nearly everywhere you walk.
I walked into this street off one of the small campos and I was stuck by the height and perspective of the buildings but also the varying lines of laundry.
I smelled fabric softener in the air. The light was subtle in a very powerful way and I knew I had to paint this scene. Calle Larga Rosa is the name of the street.
